How about because beauty is only skin deep, it’s in the eye of the beholder, etc etc?Mmk I’m going to go on a little rant and because this is tumblr I’ll get shit for it but whateverHonestly if perfect hair or perfect abs or perfect clothes is all that beauty means to you and if you don’t fit that kind of beautiful then that’s your own damn fault.A hair straightener costs twenty bucks.Concealer, ten.Eye liner maybe eight and factor in maybe another eight for mascara.For 46 dollars you just got about ten times more ‘beautiful’. If you look at the hipsters and other ‘beautiful’ people on tumblr, you’ll realize that nine times out of ten their socalled beauty has nothin to do with genetics, it’s all about makeup and fashion. If you don’t want to take the extra twenty minutes to make yourself look like that, that’s fine, but don’t berate those who do because they’re ‘beautiful’.Besides, nine times out of ten those ‘beautiful’ people feel just as empty as you do. You know why? Because they’re PEOPLE. and as people it’s their nature to feel misunderstood and crappy and dislike themselves because they’re insecure and good lord to say these people have nothing to be insecure about is to say they’re not human.So stop acting like someone who takes five seconds to put on some eyeliner is automatically better than you, and more importantly, stop berating them and stop berating yourself because you don’t conform to every last fashion trend.There.(also apologies for typoes I wrote thisnkn my iPod yippee)
